Tradeshows and Travel: Our Year In Pictures
With every season comes some mix of tradeshow preparation, work, and travel. 2015 has been no different, as tradeshows continue to be an important element of our operations and the platform for us to get MOVA Creations out to new people around the world. This year, we added new shows to our schedule, upgraded our booth, and took some time to explore the cities we visited. We thought we’d share with you some of our experiences:
Old and New Tradeshows, Same MOVA Experience

We exhibited at new shows this year like Dwell on Design in Los Angeles and the Rocky Mountain Gift Show in Denver, CO. In addition to seeing awesome décor innovations, we were pleased to see that many Dwell attendees interested in the decorative potential of the MOVA Globe. Attending new shows like these helps our creations reach new audiences. [/caption]
We returned to NY NOW and AmericasMart, two of our busiest shows last year, and met even more retailers, buyers and fans. People love it when we let them hold our globes. They often play with them and it’s fun to see the inner child emerge.[/caption]

We also exhibited at leading international shows, like Maison et Objet in Paris (above) and the Hong Kong Gift Show (below), to bring share our products around the world.[/caption]

Icon Honors at AmericasMart Atlanta
Our MOVA Cube was selected as a finalist for AmericasMart’s Icon Honors Award for Product Innovation and we were invited to attend the prestigious awards event. With a red carpet walk, a three-course meal, and a well-planned ceremony, we were treated like celebrities.[/caption]
Our Evolving Booth
Our tradeshow booth design has come a long way and we have received lots of positive feedback. This is our booth at NY Now that had the standard design for most of our shows this year.[/caption]

Our booth at the summer California Gift Show reflects the direction we want to go for 2016 – more shelving, wall posters, and overall less cluttered layout to place more attention on our products.[/caption]
Visiting Our MOVA Partners

It was exciting getting to visit some of our retailers in person and talking to them about MOVA Globes (it was fun to say, “that’s us! We’re the manufacturers!”). We see the amazing, unique products these stores carry, the more personal customer service that they provide, and overall, how they add to the unique character of the city. [/caption]

Taking the MOVA Globes around Central Park and Grand Central Station elicited some curious looks from people, but what can we say – MOVA Globes are just so eye-catching.[/caption]

As a San Diego based company, we are spoiled by the warm weather year round. Snow and frost during many of the winter shows took their toll on us.[/caption]
